Marina of Green Gables … captured on October 31, 2010 – 5D
This was an odd weekend, but I'll talk about that some other time. Today was all about the kiddies who were understandably excited. Dinnertime was unbelievably hectic. Other than having to eat, get the kids dressed then take pictures of them, Jennifer and I had decided to re-arrange Matthew's room. At 4:00. Still, we managed to get it done and I even got around to setting up lights, with umbrellas, for the photo shoot. Good thing too; I'm very pleased with the results.
Matthew as Malfoy … captured on October 31, 2010 – 5D
We set a bowl of candy out on the deck with a note for the kids to help themselves, then made our way to René, Danielle and Chloe's house. Sadly, Chloe had been sick all of Saturday and still wasn't feeling all the well. Still, she struck out with the lot of us and by the time we hooked up with another group, there were 8 kids in our posse. We managed a couple of streets before Chloe decided she'd had enough. Marina too wasn't feeling all that well (she's been fighting a stomach bug for the past week) so we decided to go home too. And so, it was a pretty subdued Halloween night although the kids still had a great time; Matthew in particular, I think. Jennifer and I are both exhausted. I should go run tomorrow morning, but I think I'll postpone it to Tuesday. I'll need it too. I think I've had a few too many of those mini Coffee Crisp bars.
Absolutely fantastic photos, Mike. The kids look marvelous! Marina, right down to the freckles and Matthew, well, he looks exactly like Malfoy. Wow! Sorry the Wee-One (not-so-Wee now) is feeling somewhat under the weather. Hope she gets better very soon.

Wow, the kids look great!. What beautiful photos. It looks like they all had great fun, even with some feeling under the weather. Good on the parents for taking time to get out there.
