We played hosts this weekend; first, to Chloe who's parents were off to Ottawa for a wedding. Of course, this was a big hit for the kids, for the first part of the weekend. By Sunday, they were getting a little tired of each other, particularly when Jennifer told them they'd had enough electronics. Poor Marina was upset when they wanted time to themselves; unfortunately, it's difficult for them to understand each others wish. In the end though, it all worked out.
On Saturday evening, Les and Shawn arrived from Ottawa for an overnight stay. They're off to St Catherine's for a wine tour and will be stopping by on Monday evening for another night. We spent the evening catching up, drinking too much wine and playing Rock Band a little bit.
As for the picture above, some enterprising and creative soul decided to create some standing rock formations (not quite inukshuks) along the most recent path of destruction along Roncesvalles. Sadly, it won't last long but luckily, I've got a couple of pictures to remind me.
That sounds really busy to me. It never rains, but it pours.....always the way.
Nice to meet up with good friends, always a pleasure.

I like the inukshuk, as you know, I have one in front of the house and many have stoped to look and comment about my art form many times over the years. My inukshuk has real meaning however and what it says is (someone lives here).
