I came across this yesterday—and not for the first time. But for whatever reason SwissMiss chose to feature it on her blog, the excerpt resonates strongly with me, particularly in light of my current struggle with determining a future path.
This commencement address, from Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, was given to graduating students at Stanford University in 2005. The entire script (which you can find here) is definitely worth a read and if you go on to read it, you'll find another quote that I've been personally wrestling with: "I decided to start over."
In the meantime, I continue to create my own dots, working on projects every day and meeting with people who answer some questions and lead me to more. Whatever choice I end up making—or whichever fortune befalls me—in some way will be a new beginning.
Great quotes from a very successful person, certainly words of inspiration, go forth and create your own dots, keep working on projects and meeting people, someone will guide you to your fortune.

If you permit me, here are words of inspiration from your old man:
When the storms close in and the eyes cannot find the horizon, you may lose much. Stay with your love for life for it is the very blood running through your veins. As you pass through the years, you will find much calmness in your heart, it is the gift of age, and the colors of the fall will be deep and rich, if you let it happen.
